The Travels of Scout Shannon

Scout Shannon is an orphan on a war-torn world far from Galactic Central, making a living for herself and her two dogs by delivering messages and packages while secretly hoping to be recruited by the elusive rebel forces. She and her dogs get swept up in events that take her ever farther from home, and further into danger.
